A short post just to comment on the latest complexities arising out of the tragic and worsening situation in Syria.
We can see again that not every rebel in the world is a potential ally of the West. While this should not be a surprise, it often is. Rather than go into detail here, I would simply refer you to a previous post I wrote here on KOW:
