UK, Australia collaborate on ships

The UK and Australia have opened a government-to-government dialogue to explore the potential for co-operation on their respective frigate and minor war vessel replacement programmes.

This is according to Jane’s Defence Weekly which has more of the details, such as they are. Can we have more of this please? Every time I hear it said that he UK has but two choices, the US or Europe, I think we might just be in a little better position vis-a-vis both if we thought just a little bit more widely about our natural allies.
