I wrote a book about Ukrainian civil-military relations for which I interviewed many, many Ukrainian military personnel. How pissed am I that I never came across this particular unit.
Afterthought: does the cameraman in the foreground not seem to you to be engaged in a particularly brazen act of voyeurism? That’s quite the camera angle. I’m sure he’s looking at the shoes. Yeah.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming war, war and war.

That picture became my screen wallpaper the first time I saw it, weeks ago. Haven’t tired of it yet!
